Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Unsung Artiste’ nominee, Perez Musik, has released a beautiful music video for his single, A Song For You. The video was shot and directed by Kobe Nickson Debrah.
Shot in different locations in Ghana, A Song For You is a simple reminder that God is faithful no matter how long you have been struggling.
Perez Musik who impressed a lot of people with his performance at the VGMA Nominees Jam at Ho recently tells children of God never to give up on themselves because God cannot give up on them.
According to him, he was inspired by the words of Ephesians 3: 20-21 which says that “now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine”.
Perez who is not impressed about gospel music in Ghana currently said gospel artistes should do more to gain the recognition and respect of the industry players.
“We need to start improving our game as gospel artistes so more people choose our music in their homes; on their phones and music they reach for whether they want to jam or be inspired with it ” he said.
Speaking about his music, Perez said music is not only a career to him.
“It’s an expression of my passion. Every time I release a song, it’s like I am opening up a new part of my spirit, all my songs are lessons to me and I sincerely hope they reach out to other people in the same way,” he added.
