Clifford wins Top Male Model award

Up and coming Ghanaian fashion model and designer, Clifford Selorm Ametefe, made the country proud when he picked up the award of Top Male Model at The Festival Africa Mode which came off in Niamey, Niger.

The Festival Africa Mode is an annual international fashion event organised by Ibou Africa to showcase, celebrate and reward creative and outstanding works of fashion designers, models among other talents in the African fashion industry.

Edna Kekeli Ayawa Tamakloe from Togo emerged the Female Top Model. 

In an interview with Showbiz, Clifford said the win was a massive endorsement of his hard work and effort he has put in his career. He added that winning the award will motivate him to aim higher and achieve even more laurels in the years to come. 

“I see the award not just as a win for myself but for the country as a whole. There were numerous accomplished designers and models from neighbouring African countries at the event but despite the stiff competition, I am glad I was able to secure the ultimate prize,” he said.

Other professional fashion designers who showcased their exclusive works at the event were; NicolineGh (Ghana), Koro and Mb (Guinea), Aissa (Burkina Faso), Bilgo (Mali), DK, Emmanuel and Caterina  (Togo), Ahmata  (Niger) among others.
