She is the new member from the Buari family whose talent is yet to be savoured by the Ghanaian public.

Samera Buari, daughter of veteran musician, Alhaji Sidiku Buari is bent on keeping his father’s music legacy alive with the release of her new single, Rebirth. The song is a signal foretelling of a star on the rise.

She had a stint with the music industry about two years ago as a member of the defunct D3 group but this time, Samera, is poised to take her act a higher notch as a solo artiste.

Rebirth features up and coming artiste Phil Blak and introduces the duo as great rappers and singers.

“I titled my debut track Rebirth because it’s the renaissance of my rap career as a solo artiste. Rap is my passion and I feel I communicate more to people through rap music,” the 20 year-old told Showbiz.

As a child, Samera grew up listening to the likes of 2Pac, Eve, Notorious B.I.G, Jay Z, Eminem and Coolio whose style have influenced her music. She believes nonetheless that “her creativity makes her style outstanding among the lot”.

“I hope to keep my daddy’s legacy alive with my talent” she said.
