When two good musicians come together to do a collaboration, there is nothing to expect but good music. It is therefore not surprising that hiplife duo, D2, are currently enjoying positive response from the public on their latest single, Fever, featuring Shatta Wale.

In the song recorded by sound engineer Genius Selections, the young men are describing a pretty girl who drives them crazy.

D2, says in the song that they will do everything to keep their ladies because they were the best among the lot. At the latter part of the song, Shatta Wale comes in to talk about why he would always choose his woman over the many pretty ladies out there.

According to D2, the collaboration is perfect and they hope to grab the Best Collaboration Award at this year’s Ghana Music Awards come April.

“You can hardly have a hiplife artiste doing well alongside a dancehall artiste, but D 2’s collaboration with Shatta Wale is just perfect. We can confidently say that Fever is one of the hottest songs in Ghana now”, said the duo.

They said they were putting together an album which should be out by the end of the year.

The up-coming album will contain their well known songs like Ewo, Mama Ne Dada, Thank God It’s Friday and Wonko. The duo began their music career four years ago after following the efforts of musicians like Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone among others.

Signed under Dynamic Records, D2, comprising Duke Thompson and George Ocansey, say the sky is their limit so far as producing good music was concerned.
