Met Insurance honours sales representatives
The Metropolitan Insurance Company Limited has honoured some of its hard-working sales representatives at its annual sales conference held at Langma, near Kokrobitey, in the Ga South Municipality. The initiative formed part of the company’s incentive scheme to encourage the workers to produce more.

The sales representatives who were rewarded included Peter Korshie Adzogle Ritchie, overall best in production; Vincent Mawuli Anane, overall best in new business and fastest growth; and Paschal Kofi Dusi, the overall best in production and new business.
The others are Emmanuel Kwame Boahene, fastest growth, as well as Leslie Atta Garti, the Most Promising “Met2U” Sales Executive. Their awards included souvenirs and cash.
In her remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Metropolitan Insurance, Ms Lynda Odro, said her dream for the sales representatives and managers was for them to succeed in their day-to-day activities.
He said the company was migrating from a local company to an international company, adding that there was a new culture that was coming up with the migration, which would be to the competitive advantage of the staff.
“You would always have to succeed for me to succeed. You need to put into your psyche that there is a new wave and this new wave is what we are heading towards,” she said.
The conference, she said, had been successful “because we wanted to bring about cohesion among the sales representatives.” “This is because people learn from each other. We brought them together so that they learn from each other.”
The sales conference provided the platform for the company to strategise for 2016.
