Somotex Ghana Ltd has partnered LG Electronics to open a commercial air-conditioned academy in Accra for the provision of latest offerings on the functionality and after sale service of numerous products to construction engineers and architects.
The duo have conducted various seminars in Ghana, in recent times, which have succeeded in keeping Ghanaian experts abreast of leading products.
The new academy, which is located on Allston House at Somotex Ghana Limited (North Industrial Area), is stocked with all categories of innovative business solution products ranging from commercial air-conditioners, split air-conditioners, as well as parts of air-conditioners.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the academy, Mr Nii Ayi Hyde,the Managing Director of Somotex Ghana Limited, said the products and services being offered combined elegance, technological advancement and convenience.
He said it would provide unlimited possibility of offering unique customer experience through the exquisite world of LG products that would continually be available in the Academy.
According to him, more outlets would come on stream as Somotex Ghana Limited and LG evolved more innovative ways of making their products available.
“The academy would train experts on the functionality of array of products on display, as well as keep them abreast of global technological innovations,” Mr George Bijo, Chief Operations Officer, Somotex, added.
Somotex Ghana Ltd is a subsidiary of the Mohinani Group of Companies, formerly Poly Group of Companies and the sole distributor of LG Electronics and home appliances in Ghana, with retail outlets (Electromart) in Accra, Takoradi, Kumasi and Tamale
Dignitaries were taken on a tour around the academy by Mr Vijay Bakshi, the AC Academy Manager, West Africa and Mr Fuseini Kumbo, the Projects Manager (Somotex).
