The Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has introduced one of the world’s popular blended Scotch whiskies, Black and White, onto the Ghanaian market.
According to the company, the new drink is in line with its commitment to delight consumers with new products rooted in identified consumer insight.
The Head of Innovations and Consumer Connectivity, Mr Koffi Allaglo, at the launch on September 19 in Accra, observed that the product was introduced to provide consumers with a better option in relation to whisky.
“At the GGBL, the consumer is at the heart of everything we do, we have always been informed by the need to satisfy different consumer taste profiles that evolve and change over time. The launch of the Black and White Whisky today underscores the importance of our consumers.
“We will continue to innovate with new products that exceed consumer expectations,” he said.

High-quality Scotch whisky
The Brands Manager of the GGBL, Mr Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, added that the Black and White Whisky was a high-quality Scotch whisky with a perfectly smooth taste and could be enjoyed neat and mixed with consumers’ favourite mixers.
“Black and White Whisky is more than just your typical whisky; it is a brand that is positioned to redefine the experience in the spirit market as it is masterfully blended as an accessible whisky that would attract more consumers into the whisky category.”
