Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has appointed Mrs Helen Amerley Opoku-Agyemang, as the Director of Controls, Compliance & Ethics (CC&E).
Prior to her appointment, Mrs Opoku-Agyemang was the Head of CC&E at the brewery.
She is a Risk Management and Compliance expert, having led the establishment of robust risk management and compliance programmes in the telecoms sector.
A statement from GGBL said she joined Guinness Ghana in September, last year, from Vodafone Ghana.
She had previously worked with MTN Ghana in various sectors such as Risk Management and Compliance, Business Continuity, Credit Risk, Due Diligence and Crisis Management.
The Managing Director of Guinness Ghana, Mr Francis Agbonlahor, said her appointment would help strengthen the company’s commitment to ethical business.
“Guinness Ghana is committed to conducting business in an ethical manner; this appointment ensures the Controls, Compliance and Ethics agenda remains at the forefront of the way we do business,” he said.
