Tripadvisor, a leading and respected website for travellers worldwide “Currently rates Eusbett Hotel highly among the top hotels in Ghana using the feedback of people who have experienced our services”, says Mr Mensah.

He noted that in any business establishment, successes achieved depended on people, most of whom go unnoticed, hence the award ceremony.

“Through the hard work, tenacity, dedication and loyalty of its workforce, Eusbett Hotel has been growing year after year.”

He said in 2012, the occupancy rate of the hotel increased by 10 per cent over 2011.

“The hotel is currently positioned as the leading (venue) for workshops, seminars and conferences in Ghana, thus, opening the Brong-Ahafo Region to people who may have never visited the Region but for a meeting at Eusbett Hotel.

“Because of Eusbett Hotel, the peaceful and beautiful city of Sunyani is now being referred to by many as the ‘Conference destination of Ghana,” Mr Mensah added.

He pointed out that management had envisioned to transform the hotel into a well-integrated corporate establishment and had already established its own water processing and bottling plant to produce Eusbett-branded bottled water for in-house use.

It has a poultry farm, a cattle ranch and this year, management has planned to establish a vegetable farm to boost its operations.

Mr Sam Bennett, Managing Director of the Hotel said management had decided to construct a one-stop conference centre, the first of its kind in the country.

The three-storey facility would comprise seven meeting rooms with capacities ranging from 20 to 1,800, in addition to syndicate rooms, board rooms for corporate board meetings, a large restaurant and an expanded laundry.
