Kwarteng, a veteran player agent with over a decade’s experience in the player transfer business, is expected to facilitate the identification and transfer of top quality footballers in Ghana and West Africa for the club.

Nana Kwarteng recently facilitated the transfer of Liberty Professionals striker, Elvis Kyei Baffour, to the Tunisian outfit.
 “As Ghana rep, I am to ensure that the Tunisian club gets the best players to enhance their squad and to challenge for the championship,” he explained to Graphic Sports Online.

Mr Ayekpa revealed that he had designed a module dubbed the ‘Gulf Tour’ to help Ghanaian clubs to earn more money from the transfer market.
 “My job as a representative is to link Ghanaian clubs to their counterparts in the Gulf states. It should be possible for a Ghanaian club to participate in the Gulf Tour next summer,” he said.

“I realised most of the current player agents deceive players and leave them stranded in foreign countries. These agents convince footballers not to extend their contracts with clubs and end up going for free. This must change because our clubs need to make money,” he added.

He noted that Ghanaian clubs are worse off by the free transfer of players to foreign markets, a situation which needs to be nipped in the bud.
Nana Kwarteng was involved in the transfer of Seidu Bancy, Kofi Nti Boakye, Nuru Sulley and many other players in the past.He questioned the rationale which allows clubs to groom players and afterwards allow them to slip through their hands, leaving them in bad business.

Nana Kwarteng stressed that he would ensure clubs make the best out of the transfer of players to other countries, including exchange programs with other clubs.

 “As Ghana rep, I am to ensure that the Tunisian club gets the best players to enhance their squad and to challenge for the championship,” he explained.
