The Chairman of Swansea City FC Huw Jenkins is anticipating a delightful partnership between Ghanaian brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew after the former returned to the club in a club-record deal on transfer deadline day (January 31).

Ayew linking up with his younger brother Jordan, who has scored five goals in his last ten appearances and this has left Mr Jenkins confident that the Swans are ready for the Premier League run-in.

“Andre is a player we know very well and the manager is delighted to welcome him into the squad,” Mr Jenkins said in an interview with www.swanseacity.com.

“Aside from his experience and the fact he has been here before, his ability to play in different positions is a big help to Carlos.

“He will provide the options needed in certain games.

“With the way Jordan is playing, it will be interesting to see how his bond with his brother can develop in the remaining 13 league games.

“His character and personality is something every club needs, and he will help us a lot".

Andre scored 12 goals in 34 league appearances during his sole season at Swansea after signing from Marseille. His goal scoring form at the Welsh side earned him a move to West Ham in 2016.
