Sammy Kuffour given clean shave on live tv

Ex-Black Stars defender Samuel Osei Kuffour had his hair shaved clean on live television after his prediction that Ghana’s Black Stars would win the 2015 Afcon final against the Elephant's of Ivory Coast.

The legendary defender who is a regular guest on SuperSport made a vow to submit himself to be shaved live in the studio should the Black Stars lose their final game.

But after 120 minutes of exciting and nervy football, the Black Stars eventually succumbed 8:9 on penalties to the Elephants. 

SuperSport therefore brought in a barber to their studios so Kuffour would honour his word. Osei Kuffour had no other option than to avail himself to SuperSport presenter Robert Marawa to commence the shaving and subsequently handed the job over to a more professional barber to give it a nice finishing touch.

The ex-Ghana defender was lucky to escape a similar situation after he vowed to shave off his hair should the Black Stars lose against South Africa in the final Group C encounter, which the Ghanaians won 2-1.
