PwC to sponsor 2019 world corporate golf Ghana final
All is set for the third Ghana Final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono in Accra.
International Chamber of Commerce Ghana (ICC Ghana) are the organisers of the event.

This year’s event is special since it coincides with the global centenary celebration of ICC.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge represents one of the biggest corporate golf tournaments in the world and a key feature on CNN Living Golf.
Since its inception in 1993, the event has been played by over one million golfers worldwide in over 40 countries.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Ghana, a global network of firms delivering world class assurance, tax and consulting service in Ghana is a gold sponsor of the 2019 World Corporate Golf Challenge Ghana Final.

Golf has always been a great leveler not only in terms of its handicapping system, but also in the way that it enables people from different cultures and social classes around the world to communicate through their passion for the game and importantly compete in an open and fair environment.
The Ghana Final would be played at the Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono on May 4, 2019 amongst CEO’S and Senior Managers of Companies and the qualifying event is opened to companies registered in Ghana.
Two golfers will represent each company and the competition will be a 4 B better ball stableford on 18 Hole.
The players play off ¾ of their official playing handicaps. Events commence with qualification rounds with the top team representing both Ghana and their company progressing to play against the world.
The winners of the Ghana Final will represent Ghana in the World Final. Previous winners of the last two editions of the Ghana Final were Mimi’s Group in 2017 and Meprolim Ghana Ltd in 2018
The world event will be staged at the Oitavos Dunes, Cascais (A 5 star golf facility) in Portugal from the 3rd – 7th July 2019.
The World Final takes place over 5 nights, 4 days providing guests with an action packed programme filled with tournament play (World Finals, VIP Corporate Cup and Licensee Cup), social events, official licensee conference, local excursions and endless business networking opportunities
