Wisdom Na-Adjrago says he is looking forward to winning his third title in 2017 after reaching the final with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Emmanuel Plange at the ongoing Accra Open Tennis tournament at the Accra Sports Stadium courts.

Na-Adjrago, Ghana's number one seed, saw off Bernard Ashitey Armaah 6-3, 6-3 in the quarter final before taking on Emmanuel Plange in the semi-final yesterday.

"As I told you from the beginning of the tournament I am not leaving anything to chance. I have my eyes on the ultimate so I am working so hard to eliminate any opponent who will cross my path," an elated Na-Adjrago said in an interview.

The former student of the Sunyani Technical University will clash with either Daniel Anum Quartey or Benjamin Fumi, whose game was underway at the time of going to press, in the final game today.

The annual competition, which is organised in memory of the late President John Evans Attah Mills will see Winneba-based Aleona Ankrah face it off with fellow Winneba player Cindy Aidoo in the final of the girls Under-16 category.

While Aleona Ankrah defeated Genevive Kattah 6-0, 6-1 to reach the final, Cindy Aidoo triumphed 6-7 (1), 6-2, 6-3 over Adwoa Aggrey-Sey.

The boys Under-14 division will also see Richard Okine do battle against Lamech Bagerbaseh in the final for the GH¢1,000 educational scholarship at stake.
