Bofoakwa Tano defeated last season's semi-finalists, Skyy FC, 5-4 on penalties after their game ended 1-1 in the added-on time.

Elijah Addai opened the scoring in the 16th minute for Bofoakwa Tano, but Skyy FC drew parity through Andrews Cobbinah in the 27th minute to send the game to penalties to separate the two sides at the end of regular time.

Bofoakwa Tano will now face the winner of the game between cup holders Dreams FC and Soccer Intellectuals in the semi-final.

The match was rescheduled because of Dreams FC's Confederation Cup match with Stade Malien in Bamako last Sunday.

Elsewhere at Dawu, a 56th-minute goal by Stephen Appiah Asare proved vital as Legon Cities recorded a 1-0 win over Bechem United at the Theatre of Dreams to advance to the penultimate round of the competition.

Nsoatreman FC needed a brilliant goal by Eric Osei Bonsu in the second half of extra time to give his side a 1-0 victory over Karela FC at the Nana Kormansah Park last Saturday.

The Royals will face Nsoatreman FC for a place in the final of the FA Cup.
