"Management has chosen the Accra Sports Stadium as our home ground for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season," the tweet said.

The decision comes four days after their original home ground was closed by the National Sports Authority due to preparations ahead of March’s Independence Day celebrations.

The club also announced that this weekend’s FA Cup tie against Deportico on Sunday will be played at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.

The NSA advised all users of the Baba Yara Stadium to make alternative arrangements given that renovation works on the facility would continue after the Independence Celebrations on March 6.

The Porcupine Warriors become the fifth Premier League side to make the Accra Sports Stadium their home ground this season. Accra Hearts of Oak, Accra Great Olympics, Legon Cities and Inter Allies use the facility for their home matches.
