J.B. Danquah was staunch Kotoko man: Kenpong

A former board member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Agyapong Kenpong has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the wife and family of the murdered Abuakwa North MP, J.B. Danquah-Adu.

The MP was murdered at his residence about a week ago.

 Mr Agyapong, aka Kenpong, who was a close friend of the deceased, described his death as “shocking.”  It’s my fervent prayer that God should grant his family the strength to go through the challenging times.

“I met J.B. in 1998 when I was one of the financial backbones of Kotoko. He joined me and we both supported financially. I used to drive him to Kumasi when Kotoko were playing.”

“He is not a bad fellow, so I just can’t imagine how someone should kill him. He was at a point in time appointed a Board chairman of my travel and tours company”, he added.
