The Presbyterian SHS, Teshie (PRESEC-Teshie) set up a date with the Ngleshie Amanfro SHS (NASEC) in the semi-finals today after they both defeated Ada SHTS and Accra Academy 4-3 on penalties in the ongoing GT-Bank sponsored Principal’s Cup at the El Wak Sports Stadium.
The Tema Technical Institute on the other hand, will face the Chemu Secondary Technical School after beating the Kwabenya SHS 2-0 at the preliminary stage of the competition.
The annual super zonal competition, which is being sponsored by GT Bank and organised by the Ghana Education Service (GES), has seen over 16 schools participating in different disciplines.
In an address to open the competition yesterday, the Managing Director of the GT Bank, Lekam Sanusi, said his outfit was eager to help develop and nurture young talents for the future which he believed would give back to society.
Mr Sanusi mentioned that their partnership with the GES had been successful, especially when some of the talent from the competition have represented the national youth teams.

The Greater Accra Regional Physical Education Co-ordinator, Michael Ntow Ayeh, explained that it was in their interest to ensure that students develop their talents and to adopt healthy lifestyles through sports.
He was grateful to GT Bank for partnering them in their quest to nurture future stars for the country and said the marriage will continue to help the students to realise their sporting dreams.
