Ghana triumphs over Nigeria in WAFU B U-20 cup final
Ghana emerged victorious in the inaugural WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup as they defeated Nigeria 3-1 in a penalty shootout in Kumasi.
The Black Princesses took the lead in the 38th minute of the first half when captain Stella Nyamekye successfully converted a penalty kick.
Despite Nigeria's high-pressure start to the game in search of an opening goal, they failed to capitalize on their chances.
