The venture, inspired by Inkoom's own challenging experience of a one-year ban stemming from a contractual dispute during his playing days, is set to redefine the landscape for emerging talents in Ghana.

At the core of SIFMA's mission is talent discovery, player management, contract negotiations, and the holistic development of young prospects.

The agency's debut marks a pivotal moment for Ghana's footballing future, as it aims to empower players with the knowledge and guidance to make informed decisions about their careers.

Speaking passionately at the launch event held in Accra last Saturday, Inkoom emphasized the critical importance of contract comprehension before any player puts pen to paper.

Drawing from his personal journey, Inkoom urged young Ghanaian footballers to seek legal advice and understand the implications of their contracts, a message central to SIFMA's ethos.

"I want them to understand the contract itself and if the contract would benefit them or not, and that is why I used my career as an example that before you sign a contract you must seek advice or talk to a lawyer for you to understand what you are signing, and that is the main reason why I launched this agency," shared Inkoom, who now helms the agency as its CEO.

The agency has already welcomed its first cohort of players and is gearing up to scout for fresh talents in tournaments across the nation.

Inkoom's vision for SIFMA extends beyond individual successes; he envisions his players donning the national colors and clinching victories in prestigious campaigns.

The launch event garnered commendation from high-profile figures in Ghana's sports arena.

Mustapha Ussif, the Minister of Youth and Sports, lauded Inkoom for his visionary approach in supporting budding footballers and providing top-tier services to professional players.

Ussif highlighted how this initiative aligns seamlessly with the government's steadfast commitment to sports development in Ghana.

Anthony Baffoe, the General Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), encouraged SIFMA to keep player development at the forefront, prioritizing it over financial gains.

He emphasized that selecting the highest-bidding club could potentially have far-reaching consequences for both players and the agency.

Baffoe applauded SIFMA's dedication to nurturing local talent, preparing them for global prominence, and underlined how this resonates with the PFAG's vision for Ghanaian football.
