The bout, dubbed the “Rumble at Hogbetsotso Festival”, would be a fierce contest since both boxers have started predicting early knockouts as the day for the bout draws near.

The bout, which is an undercard on a packed night of fisticuffs, would also see Michael Ayittey Powers slugging it out with David Okine, while rival Braimah Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku, takes on Selyvenux Allotey in 10 round cruiser-weight encounters.

Speaking to Graphic Sports in an interview, Paul Dogboe said being tried and tested boxer, his son would win the heart of boxing fans to keep the Hogbetsotso festival alive

“My son is a power-puncher and a ferocious fighter and ready for any opponent, be it foreign or local,” he noted.

Already, Dogboe has intensified his training regimen at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex which is attracting boxing fans during training hours.
