After dispatching the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea 3-0 on aggregate, the Princesses will seek another giant-killing feat against Ethiopia in the final round of the continental qualifiers.

South Africa and Nigeria will battle it out for the other slot allotted Africa for the final tournament next year in Papua New Guinea.

Ethiopia advanced to the final round of the continental qualifiers after eliminating Burkina Faso on a 2-0 aggregate, winning the first leg in Ouagadougou 2-0 before progressing after a scoreless draw in the return leg in Addis Ababa.

The Princesses were due to fly out of Accra for Addis Ababa last night and are looking to secure a good result and wrap up qualification in the return recounter in Kumasi.

Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is optimistic of guiding the team to a fourth successive appearance at the global tournament and is expected to bring his rich experience to bear on the team as they hope to navigate their last hurdle successfully.
