Asogli XI spank Accra Best Dreams Academy to lift Te Za trophy

ASOGLI XI on Sunday, August 16, beat visiting Accra Best Dreams Academy 3-0 to lift the Asogli Te Za football trophy at the Ho Sports Stadium.

Goals from skipper Enam Adala and Harrison Hini midway 36th and 44th minute respectively put the hosts in a comfortable lead in the first half.

Nestor Dotse increased the tally midway into the second half with a ruthless right foot shot from the goal area, leaving goalkeeper Nurudeen Mohamed speechless.

The match coincided with the formal launch of a local non-governmental organisation, Bright Senyo Dey Foundation, which sponsored of the match.

The secretary of the foundation, Maxwell Buaka announced plans the foundation to host gala competitions annually to coincided with the Te Za celebrations.

He said that would help to identify young soccer talents and help them with their professional dreams.

Mr Buaka said apart from soccer career development, the foundation would also support the young talents in the area of education and vocational training.

“We will also assist people with disability in their career dreams,” he added.
