With the MTN FA Cup taking centre stage this weekend, the Kotoko-Real 24 Hours clash stands out as the pick of the Round of 32 matches as the lover division sides aim at causing big  upsets.

And Kotoko, who struggled before eliminating Division Two side AK Shion on penalties at the last round, cannot afford to underrate their opponents who may be more motivated to show the Porcupine Warriors the exit at Tumu.

Tomorrow’s encounter has come under the spotlight partly due to the problems in the Kotoko camp over the future of head coach David Duncan, as well as the club’s concern over the state of the grassless Tumu Park, because of its potential to endanger the health of the Kotoko players.

Although people of the town are excited and anxious about the match, especially because it involves Kotoko, it is unknown whether the Porcupine Warriors will make the journey or will stand by their request to have the game moved to the Wa Stadium.

The Round of 32 matches begin this afternoon at the Wa Stadium where Wa Rocket FC play host to Power SC.

Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak visit Samreboi to engage the Division One side, Samartex FC, in another potential thriller which is expected to attract a large crowd because of the Phobians’ impressive form this season.

Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s side thrashed lower division side Wassaman United 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium to advance to the Round of 32 and there is growing belief among the players and high expectation among the Hearts faithful that the team will not allow Samartex to stand in their way to glory at Samreboi Park.

In other matches tomorrow, Liberty Professionals, who eliminated defending champions Medeama SC, play Division One side Purejoy FC at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram,

True Democracy lock horns with Accra Youth FC in a battle of Division Two sides at the Tema Stadium while, Storm Academy play Kotoku Royals at Nkawkaw.

AC Milan engages Wamanafo Mighty Royals at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, while WAFA host Division One side, Karela United, at Sogakope.

On Sunday, Premier League leaders, Wa All Stars, clash with Techiman City in what promises to be an uncompromising encounter at  the Wa Stadium, Bechem United meet Sunyani Liberty at Bechem, RTU battle Steadfast FC at Tamale.

Division One side Emmanuel FC will sort it out with Inter-Allies at Kweiman, Sekondi Hasaacas play Okyeman Planners FC at the Essipon Stadium and Okwawu United play Dunkwa FC at the Nkawkaw Park.
