After the disappointing display against Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium last Sunday, the Premier League leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, will seek to bounce back from their 1-2 defeat when they host Legon Cities in a 26th week fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.

Kotoko are still eight points clear of their closest challenger, Bechem United, but face a dicey duel against Legon Cities who dismissed helpless Medeama SC 3-1 in Accra last Sunday.

Other fixtures

On Saturday, Hearts of Oak will clash with city rivals, Accra Lions, who beat King Faisal 1-0 away, at the Accra Stadium with the hope of claiming the three maximum points to close in on Kotoko, while second-placed Bechem United engage visiting Karela United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday.

At Dawu on Sunday, Dreams FC will host fast-sinking King Faisal, while Techiman Eleven Wonders trek to the Bibiani Dun's Park to face Goldstars.

Bottom placed Elmina Sharks will play host to Real Tamale United at the Nduom Stadium, while Great Olympics and AshantiGold battle it out at the Accra Stadium.

At the Akoon Park in Tarkwa, also on Sunday, Medeama SC will slug it out with West African Football Academy (WAFA) in what appears a close contest.
