Fans at the packed Bukom Boxing Arena were treated to some explosive encounters, including the six-round lightweight contest between Lartey and Ampiah as the debutant used his reach advantage and superior defence to earn a majority decision (58-56, 58-58, 60-54) to ensure that the Armed Forces remain on top of the league table with 15 points from five fights.

The most anticipated fight between Charles Tetteh of Panix Gym and Eric Asante of Charles Quartey Boxing Federation (CQBF) lived to its billing after six explosive rounds in which Tetteh survived two early knockdowns in the first and third rounds but displayed a lot of courage to put his opponent under pressure in the latter rounds.

The night began with a featherweight contest between Enoch Tetteh of Bridge Gym and Ofoli Tetteh of Prisons Service with Tetteh declared winner of the six-rounder via unanimous points decision (60-54, 60-54, 60-63).
