In a post on his Facebook wall, Mr Moore wrote that construction will begin with the building of a substructure on the land by local contractors K.A. Estate.

The commencement of work on the project is expected to bring smiles on the faces of many phobia fans who have waited for years to see the realisation of the decades long academy.

Mr Moore noted that the local contractors would team up with Turkish contractors Prefabex Yapi Teknolojileri San Ve tic LTD, that had been mandated to construct the state-of-the-art Phobia Academy.

The project would include multipurpose facilities that would house players, gymnasium, swimming pool, multiple playing fields among other facilities.
