Black Stars will be battle-ready: Dramani
He said there was nothing much left to be done except to monitor players in the provisional team and ensure they were in good shape to raise the standard and quality in their last international friendly against Switzerland on November 17.

"There is nothing much to do but to continue with the process and get the players and staff to integrate even more to adapt to the process shortly before the first group game against Portugal, and this will be eminent in the game against Switzerland," the former FC Nordsjaelland coach told Graphic Sports in an exclusive interview yesterday.
In spite of Ghana's heavy 0-3 defeat to five-time world champions, Brazil, and their lacklustre performance against Nicaragua whom they beat 1-0 in Spain last week, Coach Dramani was still convinced that the team would still deliver in Qatar.
"We will impress because I believe we have the quality and learning curve to show but in a modest and humble manner," he assured.
He said the fact that Ghana did not have adequate preparation before playing the top-ranked country in the world, Brazil, meant they were determined to pick natural lessons and learning processes against performances and results.
"In my personal opinion, Brazil at the moment is the best team in the world. Our players got the privilege to learn huge curves in the game and possibly will appreciate our claim of space and positioning to add up working with a structure and defining relations," he noted.
"Keeping our team building process on course, we continued from the second half of the Brazilian game to start controlling the game and find the spaces behind with consistency in the build-up play from the back to create chances."
Coach Dramani stated that the Black Stars would absolutely compete with the best frame of mind in Qatar and, therefore, emphasised the need for all Ghanaians to rally behind the team.
"We all need to acknowledge that when we are aligned in our thinking that we have what it takes to bring back the love of football in our country, then it’s everyone’s duty to play a role in this process.
"What you see is what is available and the quality, in my opinion, is what we have at the moment. The likes of Jordan, Partey, Kudus, Djiku, Salisu, Kofi Kyereh, Amartey, Inaki, Andre etc. just to mention but a few," he said.
He, however, revealed that the Stars technical team, headed by Coach Otto Addo, were still open to any exceptional talent, despite working with a pool of players at the moment.
"Honestly, any additions must be exceptionally important, but we will always anticipate a likely two per cent injury temptation.
"An addition is always a possibility with a huge provisional list that will allow you to make necessary replacement in the event of injury during the preparation," he hinted.
He explained that preparations towards the World Cup were a process which only ended at the commencement of the tournament.
"It’s a process which has no end to being ready until the first game, so no country will say they are adequately ready.
"It’s ‘work in progress’ and we believe the team will develop an appreciated structure and shape before the kickoff," the Right to Dream (RTD) Technical Director assured.
