The Graphic Sports can exclusively reveal that Genk manager Hannes Wolf is keen on augmenting his side for next season and has already made inquiries about the Black Stars player as he seek to solve his left-back problem.

Genk wants to bring Mensah on loan first, but will be wanting a permanent purchase clause inserted in the deal so that they can sign him fully at the end of the season.

Aside Genk, Belgian giants Anderlecht are also on the heels of the Ghanaian and have also approached Red Bulls about his availability this summer.

Mensah's contract with the Austrian champions expires on June 30, 2024 and he has a release clause of €6 million Euros.

The talented lateral defender joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ghanaian side, WAFA on July 21, 2016 and started with Liefering which is their feeder club before being promoted to the senior team last year after successful loan stint at Sturm Graz.
