This year’s Zonal Championships to select three teams for next season’s National Women’s League kicks off at three centres today.
The regional champions from the various regional leagues, except in the Eastern Region, have all qualified to compete in the women’s version of the Middle League which will see the teams compete in a round robin event.
Eastern Region will not be represented because the organisation of the women’s league was affected by the litigation over the RFA Chairmanship.
After the final day matches last Friday, the teams which finish on top of the standings will qualify for Season 3 of the NWL.
