Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, has lauded the "strong mentality" of his teammates in the aftermath of their 6-1 demolition of the Dream Team in their farewell match last Friday.
A hat-trick by Chelsea winger, Christian Atsu, and a goal each from Jordan Ayew, Albert Adomah and Sulley Ali Muntari gave the Stars a glittering win in front of over 30,000 spectators at the Accra Sports Stadium as the team bade farewell to the nation for the World Cup.
In a post-match interview, the 23-year-old said: "I think my colleagues showed a strong mentality in today's game and I’m very happy about that.
"It is good to make the nation proud with this performance before we leave for the World Cup," he stated.
The Udinese midfielder also said they were relaxed and looking forward to delivering at the tournament when it finally kicked off next month.
"The most important thing is to deliver at the World Cup and we are relaxed to make sure we do just that,"Agyemang-Badu noted.
