Sudan job for Appiah?

Former Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah, is on the verge of a deal with a Sudanese club, Al Khartoum.

Media reports in the Sudan say Al Khartoum have completed negotiations with the man who led Ghana to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Appiah, 54, was relieved of his job by the Ghana Football Association in September and has now signed a pre-contract agreement with the Sudanese top flight side.

According to supersport.com, the deal will fetch Appiah $39,000 a month -- more than the $30,000-a-month he earned from his two-year contract abrogated two months ago.

Al Khartoum, owned by the Sudanese military, finished fourth last season and are due to play in the next campaign of the African Confederations Cup.
