Steehold Western Awards Sept 21

West Prime Communications Limited will organise the 3rd Steehold Western Region Sports Awards on Saturday, September 21,  at the Best Western Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi.

As announced at the recent awards launch in Takoradi, the media, clubs and sports administrators in the Western Region will participate in the selection of the sports personality, best radio station and the best sports presenter of the year.

The votes of these stakeholders for the shortlisted candidates for sports personality of the year will constitute 75 per cent, while SMS voting takes the remaining 25 per cent.

In the case of the best radio station and the best radio presenter, however, only the inputs of these stakeholders will be considered.

According to the Corporate Affairs Manager of the organisers, McDonald Som,  a representative from a radio station can neither nominate themselves nor colleagues of the same radio station, nor can they nominate their radio stations.

Nominations and voting shall begin from August 12 and close on September 11.
