German-born Ghanaian international, Jeffrey Schlupp, says he is happy to have earned a place in coach Kwesi Appiah’s provisional World Cup list.
The 21-year-old striker-turned-left-back has one Black Stars cap to his name which came in November 15, 2011 against Gabon.
“I feel honoured to be part of the 26-man squad, and hopefully I'll make it into the 23-man squad to go to Brazil,” Schlupp told Ghanasoccernet.
“I grew up watching the World Cup so to be involved in it is really a good achievement for me.”
Schlupp was instrumental in helping Leicester City gain promotion to the English Premier League after 10 years.
