Former MTN FA Cup champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, are expected to continue with their recovery process when they play Tumu Real 24 Hours FC at Tumu on Saturday, instead of the Wa Stadium as earlier announced.
According to the FA Cup Committee, the last minute change was necessitated by the ongoing repair works on the inner perimeter fencing of the Wa Stadium.
Kotoko’s game with the little known Division Two side is part of 16 interesting rounds of 16 battles lined up for soccer fans as the MTN FA Cup bounces back across the country from Thursday to Sunday.
Also at Samreboi on Saturday, Accra Hearts of Oak will play as guests of Division One side, Samartex.
On Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium, Asokwa Deportivo will play host to AshantiGold SC, while Power Sporting Club host Wa Rocket FC at Wa on Friday.
Matches for Saturday are as follows: True Democracy versus Accra Youth FC at Tema, Storm Academy versus Kotoku Royals at Nkawkaw, AC Milan versus Wamanafo Mighty Royals at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium, Purejoy versus Liberty Professionals at Ghanaman Centre, Prampram, and WAFA versus Karela United at Sogakope.
On Sunday, Wa All Stars clash with Techiman City at Wa, Bechem United versus Sunyani Liberty at Bechem, RTU versus Steadfast FC, Emmanuel FC versus Inter Allies at Kweiman, Hasaacas versus Okyeman Planners at Essipon, Okwahu United versus Dunkwa FC at Nkawkaw and Elmina Sharks/Great Astronomers versus Dwarfs at Elmina or Robert Mensah Stadium.
Meanwhile, Elmina Sharks will play host to Great Astronomers in a round of 64 outstanding match at the Elmina Nduom Stadium tomorrow.
