After holding the Tanzanians to a 1-1 draw in Dar es Salaam almost a fortnight ago, the Tarkwa-based club will have the opportunity to win their first group game to boost their semi-final chances.

Coach Prince Yaw Owusu of Medeama has assured Ghanaians of victory after taking his players through serious preparations in the past few days.

With dependable players such as goalkeeper Daniel Agyei, Daniel Amoah, Moses Sarpong, Malik Akowuah, Abass Mohammed, Kwasi Donsu, Eric Kwakwa, Bernard Ofori, and Bismark Oppong set to go all out for the ‘Yellow and Mauves’, Young Africans’ Dutch trainer, Hans van der Pluijm, can only count on his knowledge of Ghanaian teams to get a result, having previously handled Bechem United, Fetteh Feyenoord and Berekum Chelsea.

A win for Medeama will improve their build-up to five points, same as MO Bejaia, who will play as guests of group leaders, TP Mazembe, who are on seven points.
