Medeama have lost just once in four games away to Moroccan side Maghreb Fes in the previous round and another solid home performance could send Carlos Roberto Paulette’s side on the verge of a historic group stage berth.

But they face their toughest test yet against Zesco, three-time Zambian champions, owned and sponsored by the state-owned electricity supplier, ZESCO.

Zesco, who  are expected in the country tomorrow, reached the second qualifying round after eliminating Mozambican side Ferroviário da Beira 1-0 on aggregate. The return leg is slated for the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola between March 28-30.
