Tarkwa based Medeama SC take on Heart of Lions at Kpando tomorrow as they hope to complete their outstanding natch with a win and continue their fight against relegation.
Disappointed at their Confederation Cup exit, Medeama found little comfort in the First Capital Plus Premier League and only managed a win over Liberty Professionals last Wednesday in another outstanding match after a series of losse to move just above the relegation zone.
A win in the Lions ‘den’ will greatly boost their chances of revival, but the Tarkwa-based side must dig deep to earn even a point against the revived Lions who are on the prowl lately.
With the league all but captured by Kumasi Asante Kotoko, second-placed Lions are taking no chances at all in a bid to ward off any threat from Accra Hearts of Oak and Sekondi Hasaacas to qualify for next year’s African Champions League.
They are, therefore, expected to make life uncomfortable for coach Carlos Roberto Paulette and his charges who face a must-win situation at a venue where the home side are unbeaten in their last four games.
