Manchester United have a close eye on Ghana’s World Cup striker Abdul Majeed Waris, with the viewing to taking him to Old Trafford.
According to a report by Mirror.co.uk, United assistant manager Ryan Giggs flew to Turkey on Thursday to watch Waris in action for his side Trabzonspor against Lokeren in the Europa League.
Waris who oined Trabzonspor from Spartak Moscow in September, has scored three goals in nine appearnces for the Black Stars.
The 23-year-old bagged nine goals in 16 games on loan at French side Valenciennes last season.
He was also the top scorer in Swedish league football with BK Hacken in 2012 and is highly regarded in Europe.
He has lived in the UK before, turning out for Forest Green Rovers reserves while he was a student.
