Kotoko players watch porn too much – Kofi Manu

 A football administrator, Kofi Manu, has alleged that the craving of Asante Kotoko players for pornography is making them lose a lot of sleep, which is in turn affecting their performance on the pitch.

His comment comes after Kotoko exited the CAF Champions League after a 1-2 loss to Moudia Club d’El Eulma of Algeria at the Baba Yara Stadium Sunday.

The Kotoko players had to be evacuated in police armoured vehicles over the weekend after their incensed supporters threatened to attack them.

Commenting on the development on Kumasi-based Sikka FM, Kofi Manu asserted that lack of sleep contributed largely to Kotoko’s loss.

“These players do not sleep. I tell you all the time, they don't sleep,” he told Sikka FM in Kumasi. “The fact that they are in bed does not mean they sleep.”

He added: “They spend their nights making calls, browsing the web and watching porno! If you like, get a medical expert to assess them and you can get confirmation. These boys don't have enough sleep!"
