Kotoko Grab Bobie Ansah

After the expiration of his two-year contract with Hearts at the end of the 2011/12 season, Bobie Ansah decided to apply for floating status to seek fresh challenges elsewhere after an offer from Hearts fell below his expectation.

However, though Chelsea who had expressed interest in the player indeed agreed on a deal with him for the ongoing season, later events which fell below the player’s expectation compelled him to request for the termination of the two-year contract and was mutually agreed upon by the two parties.

As a free agent, the former Black Satellites, Meteors and local Black Stars stalwart defender is free to join any club of his choice under the FA ‘s regulations after being declared as such by the FA Floating Status Committee.

But it appears Kotoko are already leading the race for Bobie Ansah’s signature, despite Hearts’ late rally for the player’s services following their poor run in the Glo premiership.
