Champion club Kumasi Asante Kotoko make a return to the continental stage in February next year, with an ambition to right the abysmal showing of their last appearance.
The Porcupine Warriors will host Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) of Liberia in the first leg of their preliminary stage clash on the weekend of February 7-9.
Kotoko’s local rivals and Ghana’s other representatives in the CAF Champions League, Berekum Chelsea, who made an impression on their debut appearance in Africa last year, will play Atlabar of South Sudan, with the first leg slated for Berekum.

Ebusua Dwarfs, one of Ghana’s oldest club sides but hardly identified with a major feat on the continental stage, are joined by Medeama SC to represent the nation at the level of the Confederation Cup.
Dwarfs will host Jaraaf of Senegal at Cape Coast on the weekend of February 7-9, while Medeama travel to Malabo for the first leg of their tie with Panthers of Equatorial Guinea.
