Kotoko dare Edubiase at Bekwai

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have their destiny in their own hands, knowing victory against New Edubiase United at the Bekwai Gyamfi Park tomorrow will guarantee their third consecutive league title when the First Capital Plus Premier League (FCPPL) resumes at all centres.

The FCPPL took a short break to allow for all outstanding fixtures to be cleared, and the Porcupine Warriors will hope to end their three-game winless run in the league against Edubiase, to whom they have not lost in three years.

With three games to end the season, second-placed Heart of Lions hope to keep the pressure on leaders Kotoko when they travel to Tema to face Amidaus Professionals who are second from bottom.

Elsewhere, third-placed Accra Hearts of Oak face the league’s most in-form side, Inter Allies, at the Accra Stadium in a must-win game that could see the Phobians slip out of the top four when defeated.

In other games with implications for relegation, Wa All Stars clash with Ashantigold at the Wa Park, King Faisal play Liberty Professionals at the Baba Yara Stadium, Medeama SC battle Berekum Chelsea at the Tarkwa T&A Park, Aduana Stars versus high-flyers Sekondi Hasaacas at the Agyeman Badu Park, and bottom-placed Ebusua Dwarfs attempt to revive their disastrous season against Bechem United at Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium.
