The Board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has directed Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani to proceed on leave effective today, February 17, 2015.
A statement issued by the club Tuesday morning under the heading; "Accumulated And Current Leave" and signed by the acting board secretary, Ishmael Boachie, said the coach was entitled to 120 days vacation covering the period of August 1, 2012 to July 2015.
"I have been directed by the Board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club to request you to take your accumulated and current contract leaves with effective from Tuesday February 17, 2015.
"As you are very much aware, you are entitled to 120 days vacation covering the period August 1, 2012 to July 2015.
"Please kindly leave your contact address with the General Manager of the club," the statement said.
News about the departure of the coach who won the First Capital Premier League for Kotoko back to back has been in the media for some time now but management has been evasive on the matter.
It is unlikely Coach Dramani would make a return as talks with former Accra Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics Coach David Duncan has begun.
The deal for Duncan to take full control of the team and prepare the squad for Africa is expected to be completed by close of the week.
