The 23-year old signed the deal last Tuesday at the club’s secretariat in Omdurman, after an impressive trials.
A highly- placed source told GNA Sports the contract was for an initial six months’ period with the option of another six months based on the player’s performance.
According to the source, Coach Mohamed Al-Kuki was satisfied with the output of the player in a friendly against Egyptian giants and African champions, Al-Ahly, last Friday, which the Cairo-based side won 2-0.
Kassenu is expected to join his new colleagues on June 20 for the commencement of his deal.
The player rejoined Liberty earlier this season after a stint with Moldova giants, Sherrif Tiraspol. He also had a short stint with Swedish outfit Degerfors IF last year.
The midfielder was a member of the Black Satellites squad that won the historic FIFA U-20 World Cup title in Egypt in 2009.
