• AC Milan’s Sulley Ali Muntari — Going nowhere

I will see out my contract at Milan — Muntari

A happy Sulley Muntari says he will remain with AC Milan and complete his contract which expires in June 2016.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder is in the first of a two-year contract he renewed with Filipo Inzaghi’s side after the 2014 World Cup.

Muntari’s inconsistent form this season had led to speculations that he could be headed for the exit at the end of the 2014/15 season, but the Ghanaian, who has also played for Inter Milan has quelled that in an interview.

“I’m happy in Milan and I will stay here till the end of my two-year contract,” he told Italian reporters.

“Being in the team’s official line-up is my first aim for now and I’ll do my best to improve my performance and to convince my coach that I deserve a permanent place in the team.”

Muntari, who initially joined from rivals Inter on loan in January 2012, just recovered from an injury he sustained at the Milan training grounds.
