Hearts hold All Stars in Wa

Visiting Accra Hearts of Oak yesterday managed to secure a point in their match against Wa All Stars played at the Wa stadium.

It was All Stars who took the game to the visitors and nearly got the first goal under a minute, but Michael Mensah’s shot missed the post narrowly.

Hearts later warmed themselves into the game after that early scare and matched the Wa lads boot for boot to end the first session.

In the second half All Stars again made their intentions clear and continued to probe for the opener but their strikers shot wide anytime they got the ball in front of goal.
