Premier League side Sekondi Hasaacas will be kitted by Thailand-based sportswear manufacturer, Eureka, under a two-year sponsorship contract which covers the club’s female team, Hasmal Ladies.
The Africa Representative of Eureka, Eric Alagidede and the Deputy CEO of Hasaacas, Joseph Ofori Acquah, signed the $100,000 contract which will see Hasaacas acquiring replica jerseys worth $30,000 to be sold to the club’s supporters.
Eureka has already delivered a set of 40 home and 40 away jerseys, 40 polo shirts and 40 training jerseys, as well as footballs to the Sekondi-based club.
According to Mr Alagidede, Eureka chose to sponsor the ‘Giants of the West’ because they were one of the few clubs professionally structured with feeder teams, as well as a ladies team.
“We hope this collaboration will encourage the club to fight for laurels and win the league,” he said.
In response, Mr Acquah said Hasaacas prided themselves on being the pacesetters in professionalism and were therefore eager to recover their former glory and securing such deals were bold steps towards attaining that goal.
