A friendly against Mali has been included in Ghana's preparations for next year's African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Maxwell Konadu's home-based national team, who begin camping next Tuesday, will play Mali, who have also qualified for the competition, on December 22 in Accra.
Ghana, who lifted the GoTV WAFU Cup last month, are aiming for a cup success at the CHAN competition to be hosted by South Africa from January 11 to February 1, 2014.
Sixteen African sides will be taking part in the competition reserved for home-based players of member countries.
Ghana were losing finalists in the first edition of the tournament in 2009 hosted by Ivory Coast, but were unable to make an impact in the 2011 event.
