Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord, table-toppers in Zone II of the Division One play-offs, need a single point against Dunkwa United this afternoon at the Accra Stadium to complete a sensational return to Ghana’s Premier League. The Fetteh-based side will be going for their third win in Zone II after defeating Gold Stars 2-1 last Wednesday and Eleven Wise 1-0 on the opening day.
Feyenoord lost a single game in the play-off qualifiers, winning nine and drawing four, and are tipped to continue their impressive winning form today.
However, they come up against a resilient Dunkwa United side who thumped former premier league campaigners Sekondi Eleven Wise 4-2 at the Accra Stadium, after recovering from a 0-1 loss to Gold Stars on the opening day.
The other game in Zone II sees Wise, who have no hopes of qualifying after losing their two opening games, battling Bibiani Gold Stars at the Tema Stadium.
Gold Stars defeated Dunkwa United on the opening day before losing to Feyenoord, leaving them with the slimmest chances of gate-crashing the promotion party.
